Beet Street Non-Discrimination Policy

Beet Street, Fort Collins Cultural District, actively seeks to promote access, equity, and inclusiveness, and to discourage discrimination that denies the essential humanity of all people.

All of the activities of our organization reflect the belief that organizational performance is greatly enhanced when people with different backgrounds and perspectives are engaged in an organization’s activities and decision-making.

Beet Street does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, age, gender, gender identity, religion, sexual orientation, disability, creed, sex, ancestry, marital status, or national origin. Beet Street defines “discrimination” to include (but not necessarily be limited to) denial of services, employment, or volunteer opportunities to any class of individuals in a manner that negatively restricts opportunities to that class of individuals or any person who is otherwise qualified.

This policy is in compliance with all relevant state and federal laws.

Adopted by the Beet Street Board of Directors on January 24, 2008.
