Presentation: How to Write Your Peace Corps Story

Jane Albritton (India) is a writer, editor, and teacher. She is president of Tiger Enterprises, Writing Consultants, and the Series Editor for Peace Corps at 50, a Golden Anniversary Story Project (www.peacecorpsat50.org).


Albritton is also a contributing writer to the Northern Colorado Business Report and Edible Front Range Magazine. Her stories have appeared in Southwest Art, American Way, Poudre Magazine, and Travelers’ Tales: Hawaii. She edits works of fiction and non-fiction, serving clients as diverse as CH2M HILL, an international engineering firm, and Scuba Schools International. Her other book project in progress is Pardon Me, Mr. President, a history of presidential pardons. A teacher of writing since she returned from India in 1969, she currently teaches online courses in magazine writing and business writing at Colorado State University.

A woman of many interests, Albritton coordinated the first (and second) Tour of Solar Homes in Fort Collins and lives in a passive solar neighborhood. She also enjoys riding her horse, Paniolo, and playing the guitar (but not at the same time).
