Beet Street proudly presents Streetmosphere, a program that will transform downtown Fort Collins into an outdoor performing arts scene. 

Starting in summer 2010, you can experience our community’s unique artists, performers, and entertainers on the streets of downtown – musical acts, jugglers and magicians, acting troupes, comedians, dancers, storytellers, and painters. Downtown Fort Collins will come alive! 

This free program will showcase professional talent performing in multiple locations throughout downtown offering an inspired way to use arts, culture, and creativity to provide a unique and memorable experience.  Streetmosphere – Expect surprise around every corner!

Beet Street ensures a high standard of quality and professionalism while allowing the creative energy of our community to shine. Streetmosphere will showcase:

  • Up to five different experiences per day, performed in multiple locations in downtown Fort Collins
  • Performances every weekend, Fridays through Sundays, June through October – over 3,000 total performances in 5 months!
  • Auditioned, paid professional talent
  • Daily schedule designed to reach specific yet varied audiences based on location and pedestrian traffic patterns, and
  • Performances will be identified for visitors using portable signage
